"The Acoustic Guitar Forum, The AGF, is a rapidly growing international community of over 40,000 players, luthiers, enthusiasts and general guitar nuts.

JR Rogers from the AGF invited me to produce a CD album of acoustic guitar music performed on a selection of beautiful handmade instruments crafted by some of the luthier sponsors of the forum. These precious instruments represent some of the finest examples of contemporary acoustic guitar artistry currently in existence.

The luthiers were asked to select a guitar they felt represented their best work and pair it with a player they thought most suited to bringing forth the true spirit of the instrument.

Almost one year later this exciting project, "Handmade Music", is nearing completion.

Some of the fine luthiers already contributing are; Baden, Coveys, Hodges, Kragenbrink, Kwasnycia, McKnight, Mustapick, Palm, Paragon, Santa Cruz, Sharp and Woolson. With performances from a stellar line-up: Don Alder, Derek Coombs, John Creech, Marcus Eaton, James Filkins, Don Fransko, Edward Hamlin, Bill Pilmore, Chris Rupert, Matt Sarad and Doug Young.
